We are seeking a skilled and experienced CAD Design Engineer to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to work on a range of projects, using their expertise in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and modeling.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in 3D modeling using SolidWorks.

They will be responsible for preparing 3D models as per project requirements, developing stage drawings required for CNC machine shop operations in AutoCAD, designing and preparing models/drawings for jigs & fixtures, and supporting additional engineering activities such as documentation and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare 3D models as per project requirements using SolidWorks.
  • Develop stage drawings required for CNC machine shop operations in AutoCAD.
  • Design and prepare models/drawings for jigs & fixtures.
  • Support additional engineering activities such as documentation and reporting.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in 3D modeling using SolidWorks, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D drafting.
  • Thorough understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Solid knowledge of designing fixtures for CNC machines (HMC, VMC, CNC).
  • Hands-on experience and strong understanding of CNC machining processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel for technical documentation and reporting.
  • Effective communication skills in English (both written & verbal).
  • Exposure to Oil & Gas industry standards will be an added advantage.
