Shopify Front-End Developer Position

We are seeking an accomplished and talented Front-End Developer to join our team. As a Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for building, maintaining and enhancing the client-side of our Shopify e-commerce platform.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing and customizing Shopify themes using DOM manipulation, asynchronous JavaScript, complex CSS, liquid and meta fields.
  • Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimizing them for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Building reusable code and libraries for future use.
  • Collaborating with the development team to ensure timely project completion.
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies and applying them to development.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Shopify experience including Liquid syntax, Shopify objects, customizer, meta fields and the Shopify admin panel.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript and related libraries such as jQuery and Vue.js.
  • Knowledge of DOM manipulation and advanced CSS selectors.
  • Familiarity with responsive design and media queries.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
