Job Description

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets from various sources to support business decision-making. Your deliverables will include detailed reports, dashboards, and visualizations that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel Modeling: Utilize advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, and data analysis tools, to perform complex data analysis and build financial models.
  • Presentation Development: Create professional PowerPoint presentations that effectively communicate data insights, trends, and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for improvement within Droom's business operations.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement. Propose and implement solutions that increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, marketing, and operations, to understand business needs and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Data Management: Maintain and manage data accuracy within Google Spreadsheets and other data management tools, ensuring up-to-date information is readily accessible for analysis.
  • KPI Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business performance and support the strategic planning process.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc data analysis as required to support various business initiatives, providing timely and accurate insights to support decision-making.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role, preferably within a tech or SaaS environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced level), Google Sheets, and data visualization techniques. Familiarity with data analysis tools like Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, with the ability to create impactful presentations from data.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data insights clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Able to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
