Data Staff Role

At our organization, we are committed to growing as a lender and evolving our offerings for the long-term. As part of our data team, you will play a critical role in promoting a data-driven approach to our operations.

We are seeking a skilled professional with expertise in data pipelines to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with AWS (Glue, Data Pipeline, Athena, EMR, DMS, Spark), database replication, and efficient CI/CD pipeline creation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Promote data automation to streamline testing, monitoring, and deployment.
  2. Collaborate with data & ML leads to create optimal data pipeline architecture for data solutions including data science products.
  3. Ensure data pipelines are scalable and performant and create services to connect data products.
  4. Create dashboards and tools required to efficiently monitor data infrastructure, pipelines, ETL, and analytics delivery processes.
  5. Build an event instrumentation system to detect anomalies in the system or data.
  6. Assist in managing data infrastructure (upgrading, monitoring, optimizing).
  7. Collaborate with IT Dev Ops engineers and participate in enterprise Dev Ops activities.
Requirements:
  • Strong drive to solve problems, communicate clearly, and contribute positively to a Dev Ops/Data Ops culture.
  • Knowledge of latest Dev Ops tools and practices.
  • Experience with containerized Java/Python code stack and Git workflow.
  • Comfortable with applications deployed in AWS and orchestration/containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Basic knowledge of data science & ML engineering.
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or similar degree or Big Data Background from top-tier universities.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience.
