Mathematics Expert for AI Development

We are seeking an experienced Mathematics Specialist to join our team and contribute to the development of advanced AI systems.

About the Role:

  • You will work on projects that involve fine-tuning large language models using your strong analytical skills and mathematical knowledge.
  • The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in mathematics and be able to break down complex concepts into simple explanations.
  • You will design and solve challenging math problems, develop high-quality solutions, and collaborate with researchers to align problem types with evaluation goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and solve math problems to probe the limitations of large language models.
  2. Develop step-by-step solutions with clear reasoning.
  3. Collaborate with researchers to align problem types with evaluation goals.
  4. Contribute to defining new evaluation benchmarks based on Mathematics curricula.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Analytical skills: Good research and analytical skills.
  • Feedback skills: Ability to provide constructive feedback and detailed annotations.
  • Creative thinking: Creative and lateral thinking abilities.
  • Communication: Excellent structured communication and collaboration skills in a remote setting.
  • Independence: Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
