Automated Systems Development Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Automation Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and testing software on pharmaceutical packaging machines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the center of competence to plan and execute projects.
  • Develop software according to project requirements and implement new applications on machines.
  • Validate and test software using established protocols.
  • Develop new blocks PLC/HMI/SCADA software for existing/new machines.
  • Integrate existing PLC and HMI/SCADA software functionality into new platforms.
  • Maintain and update software design and functional documentation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical or related field.
  • Experience in developing PLC and HMI/SCADA projects.
  • Proficiency in TIA & S7 Siemens Software or Allen Bradleys Control Logix platform.
  • Knowledge of Intouch Wonderware or Schneider/Rexroth Motion codesys platform is an asset.
  • Expertise in PLC automation software development.
  • C programming knowledge is beneficial.
  • Domain expertise in packaging machines or special-purpose machines in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in industrial automation.

Additional Considerations:

  • Ability to travel within and outside India.
  • Long-term assignment of at least 2 years in Germany.
  • Training bond and long-term deputation bond.
