Identity Management Specialist

We are seeking an Identity Management Specialist to join our team. As an Identity Management Specialist, you will design and implement identity management solutions using PingFederate, PingAccess, and related Ping Identity products.

About the Role

In this role, you will develop and maintain backend services in Java to support authentication and authorization workflows. You will also integrate applications into single sign-on (SSO) frameworks using SAML, OAuth2, and OIDC protocols.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design and implement IAM solutions using PingFederate, PingAccess, and related Ping Identity products.
  • Develop and maintain backend services in Java to support authentication and authorization workflows.
  • Integrate applications into SSO frameworks using SAML, OAuth2, and OIDC protocols.
  • Collaborate with security teams and application owners to deliver secure identity solutions.
  • Troubleshoot complex authentication and federation issues across environments.
  • Support multi-factor authentication (MFA), passwordless authentication (FIDO2/WebAuthn), and adaptive access strategies.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in identity management, with a focus on SSO and federation.
  • Strong hands-on experience with PingFederate, PingAccess, and other Ping Identity tools.
  • Proficiency in Java backend development and scripting (PowerShell, Python).
  • Deep understanding of identity protocols: SAML, OAuth2, OIDC.
  • Experience with LDAP, Active Directory, SCIM.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and tools like Postman.
  • Basic Linux administration and PKI (X.509 certificates).
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
