Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Principal Design Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering design solutions and managing the delivery of infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical management, with experience in designing gravity and pressure networks, as well as a good understanding of hydrology software.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the delivery of infrastructure projects
  • Designing gravity and pressure networks for masterplan, transportation, and development projects
  • Coordinating right-of-way cross-sections for all utilities
  • Reviewing and producing reports, drawings, calculations, and presentations
  • Presenting to clients and stakeholders when necessary
  • Contributing to resourcing estimates
  • Developing the capabilities of engineers and senior engineers in the team

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree (BEng/BSc) or equivalent discipline with minimum 10 years postgraduate experience
  • Chartered Member of associated Professional body membership
  • Experience modeling gravity and pressure networks using Bently and Infoworks systems
  • Knowledge of Civil 3D and hydrology software preferred
  • Detailed design of engineering solutions
