Job Opportunity

Seeking a seasoned professional to lead the development of big data solutions using Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, and Spark. This individual will be responsible for end-to-end development, testing, and implementation of data products and APIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business: Responsible for requirements analysis, engineering, and solution design. Tasks include data management, DevOps integration, pipeline build and maintenance, and infrastructure support.
  • Processes: Ensure adherence to change and incident management processes by coordinating with other teams. Deploy releases into production while ensuring minimal downtime.
  • People: Talent. Foster a high-performance team culture by leading by example and promoting teamwork. Effective communication is essential in articulating business and technical information across the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Overall 10 years total experience in IT, preferably in banking or financial services domains. In-depth knowledge of finance, tax, and data domains. Experience in developing big data solutions using Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, and Spark.
  • Proven ability to work within a team environment and manage multiple tasks based on priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to quickly understand and articulate problems and solutions.
  • Strong reasoning, analytical, and inter-personal skills. Excellent attention to detail and time management. Knowledge of Agile practices.
