About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data transformation processes using Snowflake.

Utilize your expertise in SQL scripting to implement complex queries and data transformations that meet the needs of our business.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that drive results.

Develop, test, and deploy data models and transformations using dbt Cloud.

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub, to automate workflows.

Ensure data integrity, quality, and performance across all solutions.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processes and workflows.

Apply your knowledge of data governance and security best practices to ensure the success of our data initiatives.

Lead or participate in data migration projects, ensuring seamless data transfer and integration.

Utilize Jira or similar agile systems to manage tasks and collaborate with teams.

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in Snowflake and data transformation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in data transformation and SQL scripting.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake.
  • Experience in cloud data warehousing and business intelligence.
  • Familiarity with other data integration tools and platforms.
  • Proficiency in dbt Cloud and developing data models.
  • Experience with CI/CD processes, preferably using GitHub.
  • Familiarity with Jira or similar agile systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in data migration projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
