Lead Tax Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Consultant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with expertise in Indirect Tax Laws, Appeals, and Representation before various forums.
This role requires the ability to handle complex engagements related to GST, Customs, Service Tax, VAT, and Excise. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and researching skills, excellent communication and drafting abilities, and leadership experience in team management.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Partnering with clients to understand their needs and provide strategic advice;
- Leveraging expertise in Indirect Tax Laws to advise clients on compliance and risk management strategies;
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality services to clients;
- Developing and implementing effective tax solutions that drive business growth;
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Law or Commerce from a reputable institution;
- Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience in Indirect Tax Litigation or Advisory;
- In-depth knowledge of GST, Customs, Service Tax, VAT, and Excise laws and regulations;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
- Leadership experience in team management;
- Able to work independently and as part of a team;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications;
- Familiarity with tax software and systems;
