The Role of Data Analyst at Tata Consultancy Services involves analyzing complex business problems using data from internal and external sources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze complex business problems using data from internal and external sources.
  • Define metrics that tie back to business performance and initiatives.
  • Identify and interpret trends and patterns to attribute key business drivers.
  • Produce datasets and reports for analysis using databases and reporting tools, mapping to business requirements.
  • Provide actionable insights to decision-makers to influence strategy and performance.

Data Analysts at TCS are expected to have a strong understanding of Azure services with good exposure towards cloud-based technologies. They must also have 5+ years of analysis experience and intermediate-level proficiency with SQL specifically well-versed with analytical features.

In addition, they should be experienced with Big Data/Analytics platforms/languages Hive/Spark and Python/R. The ability to develop reports and dashboards using Business Intelligence platforms is also essential.

Tata Consultancy Services seeks highly skilled individuals who can distill complex subjects to a wider audience technical and non-technical. Excellent communication skills are crucial in this role.

Data Analysts are expected to be hands-on able to get things done fast and work without continual guidance. They should also have excellent time management skills attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work.
