Job Title: Aviation Data Manager

About the Role:

The successful candidate will lead the development of data management strategies and oversee the implementation of data governance practices across our aviation business. This role requires a strong understanding of data lifecycle management, complex data modeling, metadata management, and data cataloging tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data models that support aviation operations and analytics.
  • Manage metadata and data catalogue tools to ensure discoverability and lineage tracking.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Deliver scalable and secure data products on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Apply foundational data transformation techniques using SQL and Python to prepare data for consumption.
  • Champion data quality, integrity, and compliance across systems and processes.
Requirements:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional in data management and governance. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of data modeling techniques, proficiency in metadata management and data cataloging tools, and hands-on experience with cloud ecosystems. A strong background in SAP ERP and MDG is also required.

The successful candidate should also possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, a customer-centric mindset, and a pragmatic approach to value delivery and execution.
