Job Overview

We're looking for a highly skilled Digital Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This role will involve working on a set of digital products focused on consumer-facing containerized web & mobile applications, content streaming, distributed data stores, data engineering & analytics, serverless functions & hosting of APIs.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for implementing technical solutions in JIRA for different self-hosted & managed resources on AWS in an automated fashion, following best practices of DevOps, security, and cost optimization.
  • Create automation scripts in Gitlab and understand the Gitflow model for pull requests.
  • Develop documentation for everything Cloud DevOps in Confluence.
  • Contribute to project activities as a self-driven, individual contributor with knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology.
Requirements
  • A Computer Science engineering graduate with 3-8 years of relevant work experience in AWS & DevOps.
  • Extensive knowledge of Linux, Shell Scripting, AWS core services (VPC, EC2 S3 IAM, RDS), Amazon EKS/Kubernetes, GIT, Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Prometheus, Grafana.
  • Experience in building management of digital services based on Java & React / React Native.
  • Strong operating system fundamentals with a focus on performance optimization & reliability of the system.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (SSH, FTP, TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing, CDN etc.).
  • Good to have experience working with distributed systems & databases (SQL, NoSQL, Cache), stream-processing (Kafka), message-queuing (RabbitMQ) & search & analytics platform (ELK).
  • Excellent organizational, verbal & written communication skills.
  • Aptitude to be a good team player & the desire to learn & implement new Open Source technologies.
  • AWSSolution Architect / Professional certified a plus.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications.
