Audit Manager- Commercial Job Description

Job Title: Manager-Commercial (Construction)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial statements auditing, leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively with peers and colleagues.

  • Conducting audits of financial statements in conformity with US GAAP and US GAAS standards.
  • Leading a team of accounting and auditing professionals to achieve project goals and deadlines.
  • Performing independent research and analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Building strong working relationships with clients, supervisors, and colleagues to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Presenting and analyzing disclosure impact to stakeholders.

Responsibilities Include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in US GAAP and GAAS.
  • Chartered Accountant or other qualified professional in the accounting and tax fields.
  • Knowledge of Caseware and Caseview preferred.
  • Teamwork and leadership skills to motivate and guide team members.
  • Outstanding analytical, organizational, and project management skills to deliver high-quality results.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Industry exposure: General Commercial, with a strong preference for candidates with construction industry experience and a background in reviews and compilations.
  • Fluent English communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure during busy season times.
  • Willingness to learn new software and technologies to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Quick learner, enthusiastic, positive demeanor, and a team player to contribute to a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
