Key Responsibilities
  1. Front-End Architecture
    1. Design and implement front-end architecture for complex web applications, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance.
    2. Evaluate and introduce new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies to improve the development process and product quality.
  2. Hands-on Development
    1. Develop high-quality, responsive, and user-friendly web applications using modern technologies, with a strong focus on React.
    2. Integrate RESTful APIs effectively, ensuring smooth communication between front-end and back-end services.
    3. Write clean, modular, and maintainable code, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
    4. Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  3. UI/UX Expertise
    1. Champion a user-centric approach to web development, ensuring that applications provide an intuitive and engaging user experience.
    2. Collaborate closely with designers to implement pixel-perfect interfaces and ensure design fidelity.
    3. Stay updated with the latest trends in UI/UX design and development, bringing new ideas to the table.
  4. Testing and Quality Assurance
    1. Develop and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests for front-end components, ensuring robust and error-free applications.
    2. Implement automated testing frameworks to streamline the development and deployment processes.
    3. Work closely with QA teams to identify and fix bugs, ensuring high-quality releases.
  5. Mentorship and Team Development
    1. Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical direction, code reviews, and career development support.
    2. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
    3. Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in front-end development and setting high standards for code quality.
  6. Collaboration and Communication
    1. Work closely with product managers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver features on time and with high quality.
    2. Clearly communicate technical concepts and decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
    3. Participate in technical discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews to ensure high standards across the team.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional experience in front-end development, with a focus on React and other modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Proven experience in architecting and building large-scale web applications.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and how to integrate them into front-end applications.
  • Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
  • Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques and best practices.
  • PASSION FOR UI/UX DESIGN AND A STRONG EYE FOR DETAIL.
  • EXPERIENCE MENTORING AND LEADING ENGINEERING TEAMS, WITH A FOCUS ON GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT.
  • EXCELLENT PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS AND THE ABILITY TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY AND AS PART OF A TEAM.
  • STRONG COMMUNICATION SKILLS, BOTH VERBAL AND WRITTEN, CAN CONVEY COMPLEX TECHNICAL CONCEPTS TO VARIOUS AUDIENCES.

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
