Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Credit Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our credit assessment unit, you will play a critical role in evaluating the creditworthiness of corporate customers.

• Your responsibilities will include conducting in-depth financial analysis, reviewing business models, and assessing management risk.

• You will also work on cashflow based excel models, analyzing cashflows and working capital, as well as reviewing annual reports, borrower/promoter background, and term sheets/sanction letters.

• In addition, you will be responsible for suggesting terms to be incorporated in loan agreements, reviewing credit notes, guiding the team in analysis and decision-making, and interacting with various stakeholders (internal and external) for review of such customers.

• Furthermore, you will review internal ratings of customers and assign ratings, review early warning triggers, and prepare recommendation notes to recommend proposals to top management.

• A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, you will handle resources, discuss observations with seniors, and assess credit proposals/cases for your respective location/region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment of credit proposal, review cases as per credit policy parameters, documentation check, and analysis of observations for necessary correction in credit appraisal
  • Prepare CAM/reports highlighting the quality of information to aid decision-making at the senior level
  • Monitoring delinquency, exceptions, portfolio movement, maintaining data as required by senior management, and understanding banking products/policies/loans

Requirements:

  • CA/MBA from a reputed institute
  • Minimum of 6 years of work experience in credit evaluation in a bank
  • Credit evaluation experience in any bank
