At The International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), we are seeking a highly motivated Visual Communications Specialist to join our Communications and Public Affairs team in New Delhi, India.
The successful candidate will produce high-quality visual communication products to promote IFPRI's research to a diverse range of target audiences and through multiple channels. To achieve this, the ideal candidate will have experience designing and delivering compelling visual communication outputs in a dynamic environment.
Key responsibilities include designing both print and digital visual communication products, laying out print publications, creating engaging digital content, applying design principles, providing branding guidance, innovating in interactive design, web design, coordinating printing, collaborating effectively, and monitoring digital trends.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and team-oriented individual with a strong portfolio demonstrating excellent typography, layout, and creativity. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, as well as proficiency in using Canva for creating and managing visual content.
A Bachelor's Degree in Art Design, Fine arts, Communications, Marketing or related field plus five years of relevant professional experience or Master's plus three years in related field is required. Experience in graphic design, producing high-quality artwork, illustrations, and other graphics for communication purposes, including websites, is also essential.
The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
