Job Overview

Dimiour is seeking a skilled Senior Web Engineering Professional to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient web applications using React.js, Node.js, and Backstage.io.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new user-facing features using React.js and Material UI
  • Build reusable components and libraries for future use
  • Develop server-side logic using Node.js
  • Integrate and customize Backstage.io to manage the application's infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • At least 8 years of experience in developing web applications using React.js, Node.js, Backstage.io, and Material UI
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
  • Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Redux)
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs
  • Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
  • Experience with server-side development using Node.js
  • Experience with database technologies such as MongoDB, MySQL, etc.
  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end and back-end development
  • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
