Project Director - Construction

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to oversee and manage our building construction projects in Uttar Pradesh. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in civil engineering and a proven track record in executing residential, commercial, or industrial building projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Execution: Plan, execute, and monitor construction projects from initiation to handover.
  • Resource Allocation: Develop detailed project schedules and ensure alignment with execution goals. Allocate and optimize resources to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to meet project deliverables. Conduct regular project review meetings to assess progress and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Site Supervision & Quality Control: Supervise daily site operations and ensure compliance with design, specifications, and safety norms. Monitor subcontractor performance and manage site execution teams for timely delivery.
  • Budgeting & Cost Control: Monitor project costs and ensure compliance with allocated budgets. Track material usage and labor productivity to control expenses.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of project activities, milestones, and correspondence. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on progress, issues, and risk assessment.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 10 to 12 years of experience managing large-scale building construction projects.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of construction practices, safety standards, and project management principles. Proficient in project planning tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.
