Senior Operations Strategist

As a Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving operations and sustainability solutions. Your primary focus will be on ensuring timely compliance with rules and regulations on behalf of brands required to fulfill their Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) targets for plastic and e-waste.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure brands adhere to existing regulatory frameworks.
  • Standardize formats according to government, brand, or client requirements.
  • Document collections and verification as per commitment given to brands.
  • Proactively engage with key brands and stakeholders associated with the organization.
  • Maintain attention to detail, especially in compliance-related documentation.
  • Effectively manage multiple teams both on-field and off-field.
  • Optimize processes to increase team efficiency.
  • Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and vendors for seamless operations.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols.
  • Pursue strategic and operational objectives actively.
  • Ensure operational activities remain on time and within defined parameters.
  • Track staffing requirements and hire new employees as needed.
  • Lead, motivate, and support a large team in a demanding environment, including career development plans for direct reports and problem resolution.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve implementation processes.
  • Collaborate with legal and safety departments to ensure compliance.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience handling operations.
  • Previous experience in waste management is an advantage.
  • Able to work efficiently on multiple projects simultaneously.
