Mechanical Design Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating mechanical components, 2D drawings, and 3D modeling. They will also oversee the management of documentation as per ISO standards.
- Create Assembly & Part Drawings + 3D Models for New Product Development
- Develop Bills of Material (BOMs) and Maintain ISO Documents
- Modify existing designs based on manufacturing and sourcing team requirements
- Design and create New Product Developments/reverse engineering activities for Submersible Pump sets
- Conduct Cost Comparisons of products with other brands and Material Optimization analyses
- Establish and implement design standards and procedures
- Prepare and present technical reports and presentations
- Manage and work on all ISO 9001 related design documents
- Train production/assembly/quality assurance personnel on approved manufacturing, test, and inspection procedures
- Resolve process and product-related issues to support manufacturing and sourcing teams
- Action customer complaints in a timely manner
- Prepare internal and external written correspondence
- Technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with AutoCAD 2D and SolidWorks/Siemens NX
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
