Job Description

Ateeca Inc is seeking a highly skilled Linux Validation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our AI group, you will be responsible for validating the ROCm Stack on various AMD GPUs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate the ROCm Stack on various AMD GPUs
  • Strengthen the quality of ROCm stack components
  • Work with stakeholders to develop test plans, implement tests, and execute them
  • Triage and debug issues, identifying the correct component and assisting stakeholders for faster issue closure
  • Ensure quality and timeliness of activities
  • Make complex technical decisions independently
  • Implement checks and balances to minimize the impact of mistakes

Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or Communications Engineering with 5+ years of experience in relevant areas
  • Strong understanding of test and development lifecycle, QA process, and terminology
  • Hands-on knowledge of Linux internals, device drivers, graphics, GPU, and CPU pipelines, parallelism, cache, and other performance factors
  • Hands-on experience with validation at different stages of the life cycle
  • Hands-on triage and debugging skills, issue isolation with various components
  • Excellent understanding of Linux (compiler, kernel, etc.)
  • Preferred C++ system-level programming, data structures, and algorithms
  • Establishing and sharing best practices, designing, and executing a robust test strategy
  • Strong analysis, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python
  • Understanding of Machine Learning, HPC apps, Computer Vision, parallel programming, OpenCL, ROCm, CUDA, and OpenACC is a plus
  • Good verbal and written communication skills are a must
  • Good attitude, result-driven, and ability to deliver on next-gen technology
  • Flexible to work on a shift basis depending on business needs
