Rebar Detailer

The role of a Rebar Detailer is to prepare detailed steel and rebar shop drawings, ensuring precision and adherence to project specifications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing detailed rebar drawings by interpreting engineers' plans and specifications.
  • Utilizing 3D modeling software to create and manage structural models.
  • Reviewing and checking drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborating with structural engineers, architects, and construction teams to resolve detailing issues and ensure constructability.
  • Generating and maintaining all necessary documentation, including shop drawings, bar lists, and revision logs.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Extensive experience (typically 7+ years) in rebar detailing for concrete structures, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Advanced skills in Autocad, Revit, Rebar CAD, and other relevant CAD/BIM software.
  • Deep understanding of structural engineering principles, reinforcement detailing standards code, and construction practices.
