Job Title: Database Administrator

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team. As a Postgre SQL expert, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our database infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain efficient database solutions using Postgre SQL.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and backup processes are in place.
  • Migrate databases to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Analyze mainframe data types and differences between DB objects.
  • Optimize MySQL/PostgreSQL DB engine performance on datatypes and DB Objects.
Requirements
  • 8 years of hands-on experience as a Postgre SQL Database Administrator.
  • AWS SCT Tool expertise.
  • DB Migration Service knowledge.
  • Mainframe Knowledge on datatypes and diff DB Objects.
  • MySQL/PostgreSQL DB engine knowledge on datatypes and diff DB Objects.
Bonus Requirements
  • Experience with other relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MariaDB).
  • Familiarity with cloud-based MySQL services (e.g., AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL).
  • Data Warehousing concepts and tools knowledge.
  • Compliance understanding.
