Project Objective:

We are seeking a skilled technical professional to collaborate with one of our clients from the banking sector. The project aims to maintain and enhance solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and improve digital products and technology services provided to our clients and employees.
  • Apply software engineering practices, including analyzing user needs, developing new features, automated testing, and deployment.
  • Evaluate and ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions by implementing digital principles and functional requirements.
  • Develop observability into our solutions, monitor production health, assist in resolving incidents, and address the root cause of risks and issues.
  • Understand, represent, and advocate for client needs.
  • Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, contribute to hiring processes, and participate in our engineering culture and internal communities.

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent, focusing on code development and maintenance.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar position focused on core banking integration area in a development role.
  • Interest in learning new technologies and practices, reusing strategic platforms and standards, evaluating options, and making decisions with long-term sustainability in mind.
  • Strong communication skills, including presentations and technical writing.
  • Familiarity with Java and relevant Java tech stack.
  • Awareness of clean coding practices and 'Clean Code' principles.
  • Test-driven development and ability to design unit, integration, and functional tests.
  • API-first design.
  • Understanding of modern architecture and design patterns, including event-driven systems and microservices.
  • Good troubleshooting skills and hands-on DevOps experience.
  • Ability to collaborate with onsite and offshore teams during solution delivery.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • A highly proactive team player eager to support colleagues when needed.
  • Predisposition to taking responsibility for tasks and working independently.
