The selected candidate will be responsible for verifying security transaction tax notes, validating TDS/ST returns, and preparing income computation reports. They will also handle queries from auditors and collaborate with consultants/auditors for validation.

Responsibilities:

  • Tax Compliance: Verify STT notes and collate P&L information to calculate advance income tax payable.
  • Tax Returns and Certificates: Validate TDS/ST returns and ensure the total value in form 16A matches the total tax liability.
  • Tax and VAT Audits: Prepare income computation reports based on audit reports and send them to consultants/auditors for validation.
  • Query Handling: Handle specific/critical queries from auditors if any.

Required Skills and Qualifications include strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. A background in finance or taxation is an added advantage.
