Job Description

This position is for a Ruby on Rails Lead to oversee and drive the development of full-stack applications.

  • Lead a team of developers, providing technical guidance and mentorship to ensure project success.
  • Take ownership of programming and developing robust Ruby on Rails applications.
  • Contribute to both back-end logic and front-end user interfaces, working as a full-stack developer.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure adherence to Agile methodologies and best practices throughout the development cycle.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong hands-on experience as a full-stack developer.
  • Proven experience in leading a team.
  • Expertise in programming and developing Ruby on Rails applications.
  • Strong knowledge of the Rails framework, including:
  • ActiveRecord for database interaction.
  • ActiveSupport for extended core functionalities.
  • Mongoid (if applicable) for MongoDB integration.
  • Device and OmniAuth for authentication and authorization.
  • RubyMotion for mobile development.
  • Good knowledge of JavaScript and modern JavaScript frameworks like jQuery and ReactJS.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, and Bootstrap for front-end development.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies to contribute effectively to the team's workflow.
