Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Data Management Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding and analyzing product development and manufacturing workflows.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and manage bills of materials (BOMs).
  • Support processes such as engineering change management (ECM), document/data control and versioning, item and part lifecycle tracking, and product release and approval processes.

System Support & Collaboration:

  • Facilitate collaboration between design, manufacturing, and quality teams.
  • Work with implementation teams to configure product data management workflows and data models based on manufacturing best practices.
  • Assist with deployment, user training, and onboarding for Autodesk product data management tools.
  • Learn and adapt product data management tool functionalities with minimal supervision.
  • Create user documentation, training guides, and support materials.

Integration (Nice to Have):

  • Design and implement integrations between product data management systems and enterprise resource planning systems.
  • Map and synchronize items, BOMs, documents, engineering change orders, and materials.
  • Develop integrations using APIs, middleware, or other technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
  • 0–3 years of experience in product data management implementation, engineering, or manufacturing domain.
  • Strong understanding of product development, revision, and release processes in manufacturing.
  • Quick learner with the ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
  • Solid analytical thinking and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.

Must Have:

  • Understanding of product data management concepts and their use in the mechanical engineering domain.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and systems thinking.

Nice to Have:

  • Basic programming or scripting knowledge: C# (.NET), JavaScript.
  • Experience with APIs (REST/JSON/XML) for system integration.
