High-Performance PCB Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated electronics professional to join our New Product Development (NPD) team.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance printed circuit boards (PCBs) for a range of innovative ophthalmic medical devices and diagnostic equipment.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and efficient PCB solutions that meet the functionality and performance requirements of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Lead the design, development, and testing of printed circuit boards (PCBs) for new ophthalmic products and medical devices.">
  • Schematic Capture and Layout: Create detailed schematics and PCB layouts, ensuring optimal performance, signal integrity, and power distribution.">
  • Signal Integrity and EMC: Analyze and ensure proper signal integrity, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and power integrity in PCB designs.">
  • Design for Manufacturability: Ensure PCB designs are optimized for manufacturability and cost-efficiency.">
  • Prototype Development and Testing: Develop and test PCB prototypes, ensuring they meet all functional, safety, and performance criteria.">

Requirements:

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in PCB design and development, with a strong understanding of PCB design principles and hands-on experience in designing for complex electronic systems.

Familiarity with industry-standard tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence, or KiCad.

">

Strong knowledge of electronic components, circuit design, and electrical simulation.

">

Experience with high-speed PCB design, signal integrity, EMC/EMI, and power distribution.

">

Familiarity with industry standards and best practices, including IPC standards and regulatory compliance (ISO 13485, FDA).

">

Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel, balancing priorities, deadlines, and resources.
