Job Title: L2 Network Engineer – Cisco Tetration

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced network engineer to provide level 2 operational support for a customer's Cisco Tetration platform deployed in their data center environment.

  • Provide day-to-day monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the Tetration platform.
  • Assist in the configuration and deployment of Tetration components and sensors.
  • Support the implementation of application segmentation and micro-segmentation policies across the data center environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 7–8 years of total experience in network engineering or IT infrastructure roles.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience with Cisco Tetration platform in operational environments.
  • Strong knowledge of network fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP/OSPF), VLANs, ACLs, and firewalls.
  • Working knowledge of data center infrastructure, virtualization (VMware), and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with application traffic mapping, segmentation, and policy enforcement using Cisco Tetration.

Others:

You will be responsible for maintaining technical documentation and support logs related to Cisco Tetration operations. Escalation issues to L3/engineering teams as necessary, following incident management protocols.
