Job Title: Senior Technical Solutions Manager

We are seeking a skilled professional to handle the execution of vessel retrofit projects from technical feasibility to yard commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Retrofit Project Management - Own projects from inception to completion, including feasibility analysis, layout planning, material flow, vendor timelines, and yard coordination.
  • Engineering Integration - Review design drawings, electrical interface scopes, and class/flag submissions. Liaise with engineering vendors and class societies for approvals.
  • Commercial Offers & ROI Analysis - Prepare technical offers with ROI calculations, bonus/penalty models, and energy efficiency metrics for internal and client-facing stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Coordination - Act as the single point of contact for owners, charters, yards OEMs, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
  • Project Documentation - Develop and manage project RACI charts, technical specs, work orders, and commissioning plans, and maintain Project-related accounts.
  • Yard Attendance - Travel to yards for critical retrofit phases, including installation, integration, commissioning, and paint applications.
  • Hull/Paint Strategy Execution - Lead Hull modification and paint selection discussions (e.g. silicone, advanced antifouling) and coordinate yard/OEM execution during dry dockings.
Requirements:
  • Marine Engineer (Class 1 – Motor) with 1 to 2 years' experience ashore in technical management or yard roles.
  • Hands-on experience in major drydocking/repairs involving tankers or bulkers.
  • Retrofit exposure in EPL/ShaPloi/BWTS, Scrubbers, VFDs, Ducts, Propellers, Hull paint.
  • Design review, electrical integration, and class interaction skills.
  • Commercial acumen with ROI modelling, proposal creation, cost vs savings analysis.
  • MS Office tools, Power BI, Advanced Excel, CFD exposure (Optional).
  • Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
