About the Role

This senior software engineering position involves driving innovation and performance in our next-generation software applications.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for applying deep knowledge of computer science and programming principles to create innovative solutions.

  • You will develop, integrate, and document libraries and frameworks that enable scalable development across multiple projects.
  • Your responsibilities will include building and tracking quality into agile product lifecycles, encompassing requirements, design, code, testing, delivery, and support.
  • You will also be expected to enable clear, maintainable full-stack solutions that scale, adhere to existing standards, and work in a professional software engineering environment.
  • In addition, you will understand and socialize company goals, metrics, and align with the teams' technical goals.
  • You will advise product owners and UX on what is feasible technically, partner in user requirements translation to technical specifications, and participate in product planning sessions as a technical SME.
  • Your tasks will include supporting products, identifying and fixing root causes of production incidents, owning troubleshooting and resolution of production issues across teams, and owning discovery, solutioning, monitoring, incident resolution, imbibe, and socializing DevOps mindset.
  • You will also own product quality and work to quickly address production defects, embed a DevOps mentality within the team, and serve as a technical lead for your team as needed or special-purpose projects per business priority.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelors in computer science or related discipline; or equivalent work experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in software development, data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, databases, SQL, web programming, design patterns, SOLID principles, cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.), REST services, SOA, micro-services, unit testing, mocking frameworks, automation frameworks, and DevOps mindset.
  • Strong communication, partnership, teamwork, and influencing skills required.
