Job Title: Senior Data Engineer

Role Summary: As a seasoned data engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining large-scale data processing pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various systems into the Enterprise Data Warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and business users to understand business processes and identify data requirements.
  • Design and implement dimensional and fact tables to support data analysis and reporting.
  • Develop a highly scalable, reliable, and high-performance data processing pipeline using ETL workflows and mappings.
  • Provide production support of ETL processes to ensure timely completion and availability of data in the data warehouse for reporting use.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to translate business information needs into well-defined data requirements to implement Business Intelligence solutions.
  • Train end-users, analysts, and developers on data governance processes and data quality issues.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Have 4-7 years of experience on Data Warehousing, Data Engineering, or Data Integration projects.
  • Be an expert in data warehousing concepts, strategies, and tools.
  • Have a strong SQL background and knowledge of relational databases like SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL.
  • Experience working with GCP & Google BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Composer (Airflow), Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Function, and GCS.
  • Good understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Scrum processes.
  • Strong problem-solving, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
  • Highly proficient in working with large volumes of business data and strong understanding of database design and implementation.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
