Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Financial Management Associate - Accounts Payable Expert who can manage various accounts payable activities of the finance department. The ideal candidate will have experience with financial management systems, be able to ensure timely and efficient production of accounts payable services, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and handle various accounts payable activities of the finance department, including checking accuracy and completeness of accounts payable documents and transactions.
  • E nsure the timely and efficient production of accounts payable services.
  • Co-ordinate with Project teams, procurement departments, and bookkeeping to account for vendor invoices after verification, ensuring control on cross-charge/customer-funded expenses.
  • Have elementary knowledge of VAT, GST, and USA W9 requirements.
  • Maintain systematic records.
  • Review and verify contracts, invoices, statements, and time sheets.
  • Demonstrate the ability to recognize, analyze, and resolve problems and avoid repetition.
  • Monthly reconcile books of accounts.
  • Reconcile trade payables with vendors, accounting for TDS while booking invoices and cross-charging to group companies.
  • Prepare and maintain various schedules and variance analysis of expenses.
  • Attend auditor and management requirements.

Requirements

  • B.Com / BAF with core subjects of Financial Management (Accounts, Audit, Costing Accountant)
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of mainframe computer accounting systems like SAP
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines
  • Proven ability to communicate courteously and effectively in person, in writing, and over the telephone
  • Flexibility in working hours and working in teams
