Telecom Project Lead

Job Overview:

Seeking a highly skilled project lead to manage and deliver telecom projects utilizing cloud engineering, DevOps, and embedded systems. The ideal candidate will oversee project timelines, budgets, scope, and resources ensuring successful project completions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple customer-driven telecom projects focusing on delivering solutions using cloud engineering, DevOps, and embedded systems.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, scope, and resources ensuring projects are delivered with high quality and meet client expectations.
  • Recruit, onboard, and lead a team of specialists in software development, cloud solutions, and embedded systems ensuring optimal team composition and performance.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation within the team.
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and knowledge in the latest telecom technologies.
  • Implement best practices in cloud architecture and DevOps to enhance infrastructure and application deployment strategies specific to telecom environments.
  • Guide the team in adopting new technologies and methodologies to improve project outcomes.
  • Work closely with technical leads to ensure architectural and operational requirements are integrated into project plans.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the company and the client managing expectations and ensuring clear communication of project progress.
  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders understanding their needs and converting them into project goals and deliverables.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify project risks and dependencies implementing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with industry standards and regulations particularly those specific to telecommunications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 7 years of experience in project management within the IT and telecom sectors focusing on cloud engineering, DevOps, and embedded systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage technical teams in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong understanding of telecom infrastructure including but not limited to 4G/5G networks IoT and network security.
  • Proficient in agile project management tools and methodologies.
