Business Finance Professional

The role of Business Finance Manager is pivotal in driving the growth of Instamart. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business decisions and optimize costs.

  • The Business Finance Manager will develop a deep understanding of the Instamart business, encompassing consumers, categories, and other functions within the organization.
  • He/She will conduct data-driven trend analysis for P&L and revenue metrics to improve financial performance.
  • The manager will collaborate with business stakeholders to manage day-to-day P&L and drive business growth.
  • He/She will create processes for new initiatives and improve existing ones, focusing on governance and cost leakage.
  • The manager will prepare, manage, and publish business scorecards, working closely with business teams.
  • He/She will run weekly reviews with business stakeholders and assist with ad-hoc analysis as needed.
Requirements:
  • A CA, MBA, or B.Tech degree is required.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience post qualification is necessary.
  • Strong Excel/Google sheet skills and good business acumen are essential.
  • Interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, along with the ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams, are crucial.
  • Proficiency in Financial modeling and PowerPoint skills is required.
  • Previous experience as a business finance partner is desired, with experience in a start-up/Retail being preferred.
  • The ideal candidate must be a self-starter who can take ownership of deliverables with minimal direction and develop new ways of approaching business problems.
  • Continuous improvement attitude and fast learning ability are also essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Knowledge of SQL would be beneficial.
