About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned SAP Basis professional to join our team at Nielsen. As a key member of our SAP support team, you will be responsible for administering SAP applications, including SAP Basis, Portal, BW, Netweaver, and SAP on cloud (Azure).

Key Responsibilities
  • Use your expertise in SAP OS/DB Migrations and S/4 Conversion to architect and support solutions around SAP ecosystems and Cloud.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and support diverse SAP Landscape, including S4HANA, ECC, Portal, Gateway/Fiori, BOBJ, BODS, SLT, Solman, PO, SRM, etc.
  • Perform performance tuning, System copies/Refreshes, client copies, Stack updates, etc.
  • Provide technical expertise for resolving escalated issues and participate in P1 issue calls & crisis resolution meetings as necessary.
  • Contribute to building Tools & Accelerators.
  • Publish White papers, KB Articles, and conduct Webinars in relevant technologies.
  • Previous experience with creation, support, and integration of SAP Systems HW and SW into Azure and supporting infra and network application configurations.
About You
  • You have a strong background in SAP BASIS with a minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience.
  • You have a good understanding of SolMan Security and Strong knowledge on CRM Web-Ui, SolMan Functionalities like ChaRM, Process Management/Modelling, Project Management, Test Suite (Manual, Automation).
  • You have Implementation knowledge on Focused Solutions (Focused Build, Focused Insights, and Focused Run). You have a good understanding of CI/CD process/tools and use SolMan for Agile projects.
  • You have the knowledge in System improvement & process improvements in the SAP BASIS area.
  • You are technically fluent in Operating systems like Windows & Linux and have good hands-on experience with HANA Database.
  • You have strong Knowledge and Hands on experience on Operations, Installations, Upgrades and Migrations of SAP Basis.
  • You are able to manage multiple projects concurrently & work in rapidly changing environment.
