Job Summary

The L2 Network Administrator position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of Cisco Meraki network infrastructure. This includes maintaining security, high availability, and compliance across the organization.

This critical role requires a dedicated professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to monitor and troubleshoot day-to-day issues with Meraki network devices (MX, MR, MS).

In addition to technical expertise, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills to provide user support for network-related issues and maintain documentation of network setups and issue resolutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Meraki network devices for optimal performance.
  • Ensure seamless Wi-Fi connectivity for users across locations.
  • Maintain switch ports, VLAN assignments, and basic network changes.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers for escalations and configuration changes.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of network setups and issue resolutions.
  • Provide timely and effective support to users for network-related issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience in wired and wireless networking.
  • Proficiency in Cisco Meraki Dashboard.
  • Familiarity with Layer 2 concepts - VLANs, trunk/access ports, port security.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field. 2+ years of experience in network administration required.
Additional Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Malayalam language is mandatory.
  • On-site general shift availability with support for planned changes.
