Job Description

As a seasoned cybersecurity expert, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the financial industry. Your role as a Lead Cybersecurity Architect is pivotal in creating cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions for software applications utilizing advanced cloud technologies.

Your primary responsibilities include designing and implementing critical cybersecurity architecture solutions, identifying and communicating risks, proposing mitigation strategies, and providing solutions across diverse technical areas within various business functions to support project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to discuss and propose technical approaches to meet current and future cybersecurity needs.
  • Define the technical target state of your cybersecurity product and drive achievement of the strategy.
  • Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall cybersecurity of software applications and systems.
  • Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of cybersecurity designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and cybersecurity architecture.
  • Lead communities of practice to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge cybersecurity technologies.
  • Foster a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect within the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Formal training or certification in Cybersecurity concepts and 5+ years applied experience are required.

Experience in software engineering, security architecture, cybersecurity, and risk management is also essential.

Hands-on practical experience delivering enterprise-level cybersecurity solutions and controls advisory is necessary.

Proficiency in Security architecture skills including threat modeling, secure design review, control design and evaluation, third-party product security assessments is required.

Proficiency in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle and understanding of agile methodologies such as continuous integration and delivery, application resiliency, and security are also required.

Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., public cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.) is necessary.
