Scalable Data Solutions Engineer

Job Description:

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Scalable Data Solutions Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines that process and transform large volumes of structured and unstructured data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implement Efficient Data Pipelines: Develop efficient and reliable data pipelines for processing structured and unstructured data.
  • Build and Maintain ETL/ELT Workflows: Construct and maintain workflows for data ingestion from diverse sources including APIs, databases, files, and cloud platforms.
  • Data Quality and Governance: Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across all data pipelines.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and fulfill data requirements.
  • Optimize Data Workflows: Optimize data workflows for performance and reliability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with strong programming skills in languages such as Python, PySpark, and SQL. Additionally, experience with CI/CD practices, Kafka, GCP Composer/Apache Airflow, Google Cloud Platform (Dataproc, BigQuery, Looker), and data warehousing/data modeling is required.
