Job Title: Data Engineering Leader
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineering Leader to drive innovation within our Data Engineering domain. As a leader, you will be responsible for designing reusable and reliable accelerators, blueprints, and libraries that enable fast-paced deliveries.
Key Responsibilities- Drive innovation by designing and implementing data engineering solutions that meet business needs.
- Lead a team of technologists to inculcate an innovative mindset and deliver high-quality software development.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and develop technical solutions that meet their needs.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and present technical solutions to executives and IT management.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering and adapt them to meet business needs.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering, including design, implementation, and operation of large-scale data-centric distributed applications.
- Experience architecting, operating cloud-based solutions with a good understanding of core disciplines like compute, networking, storage, security, databases, etc.
- Good understanding of data engineering concepts like storage, governance, cataloging, data quality, data modeling, etc.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala.
- AWS Professional/Specialty certification or relevant cloud expertise.
