Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned DevOps professional with extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available, scalable cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS, Kubernetes orchestration, and EKS, with a proven track record of managing deployments in production environments.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams to create a self-managed team, support skill development, and provide growth path, performance evaluation, and attrition management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering knowledge-sharing presentations and documentation, learning on the job, and exploring new technologies with little supervision. They will also participate in and lead war-room/critical outage calls and ensure the RCA process is implemented.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable cloud infrastructure and services
  • Manage deployments in production environments and engage stakeholders as required
  • Build, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters through automation using Terraform
  • Institute infrastructure as code, security, and process automation and automate routine maintenance tasks
  • Create and deliver knowledge-sharing presentations and documentation
  • Learn on the job and explore new technologies with little supervision
  • Participate in and lead war-room/critical outage calls and ensure the RCA process is implemented
Requirements:
  • 8+ years experience working on AWS, Kubernetes Orchestration, and EKS
  • 6+ years production environment experience
  • Experience with infra-automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
  • Experience working on Linux environment with at least one scripting language
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins, Harness, ArgoCD
  • Experience in Application Performance Monitoring tools such as Datadog, Instana, Grafana, Splunk, PagerDuty, Pingdom, and Cloud Watch
  • Good to know and at least hands-on experience on DevOps and Cloud Operation Process and Agile Release Processes, and L2/L3 Ticketing process and experience in SRE role
  • Experience with source control and management tools like Git

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of AI tools and Savant with Amazon SageMaker Services
