Specialist SAP Architect: Direct Tax Solutions

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist SAP Architect to lead our transition from SAP ECC to S/4HANA, with a focus on direct tax solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in architecting, designing, and implementing tax solutions on the SAP S/4HANA platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Solution Architecture: Design and configure SAP S/4HANA and Thomson Reuters Direct Tax solutions to meet business requirements and comply with local and international tax regulations.
  • Module Integration: Ensure seamless integration of tax solutions with relevant SAP modules, including Finance (FI), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Materials Management (MM).
  • Collaboration & Requirements: Partner with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications, ensuring solutions align with business goals and leading practices.
  • Agile Development: Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to deliver and maintain the S/4HANA ecosystem.
Qualifications:
  • A Master's degree with relevant SAP experience or a Bachelor's degree with more experience.
  • Proven experience in implementing SAP S/4HANA and Thomson Reuters Determination with a focus on direct tax solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate income tax, operational transfer pricing, and state income taxation.
  • Proficiency in SAP Advanced Intercompany, SAP Material Ledger, and optimized transfer pricing setup.
  • Familiarity with SAP Document & Reporting Compliance and SAP Profitability and Performance Management is a plus.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban).
