Senior Data Engineer

At Tredence Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team in a key role responsible for analyzing and evaluating existing data systems, updating and optimizing data models, and working closely with the business and analytics teams to understand business needs and translate them into long-term solution data models.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and evaluate existing data systems and continuously update and optimize data models.
  • Work closely with Business and Analytics teams to understand business needs and translate them into long-term solution data models.
  • Develop best practices for data coding, naming conventions, default values, semantics, data dictionary, etc. to ensure consistency within the system.
  • Review modifications of existing systems for cross-compatibility.
  • Implement data strategies and develop physical data models.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years hands-on experience with physical and relational data modeling, with overall 10+ years of industry experience.
  • Expert knowledge of metadata management and related tools.
  • Knowledge of mathematical foundations and statistical analysis.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills
