Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Controller. As a key member of the Finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing financial control processes and supporting strategic initiatives across the Auto business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all month-end journal entries, accruals, and reversals to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Support US regulatory filings, including Recovery and Resolution appendices and other periodic submissions
  • Conduct reviews and perform user testing on system enhancements impacting financial and regulatory reporting
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with leadership, Project Managers, Finance teams, and control partners
  • Escalate issues appropriately while presenting complex information clearly and concisely to senior management
  • Assist in implementing new US GAAP accounting standards and regulatory reporting requirements, ensuring business compliance with evolving guidelines
  • Design, develop, and distribute financial reports to provide insights for accounting and finance teams

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in an accounting function, either internal or external
  • Proven ability to analyze large volumes of data and distill it into actionable insights for executive audiences
  • Quick learner with the ability to formulate and execute plans effectively
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey technical content clearly to non-technical audiences
