We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the data engineering and analytics group, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining efficient data pipelines and ETL processes using SQL and Python.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 5-8 years of hands-on experience in data engineering and analytics.
  • Solid understanding of database architecture and performance tuning.
  • Experience in end-of-day reporting setups and cloud-based analytics platforms.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and maintain efficient data pipelines and ETL processes using SQL and Python.
  2. Write optimized queries (T-SQL, PL/SQL) for data manipulation across multiple RDBMS.
  3. Use Python libraries for data processing, analysis, and visualization.
  4. Perform EOD (end-of-day) data aggregation and reporting based on business needs.
  5. Work on Azure Synapse Analytics for scalable data transformations.
  6. Monitor and manage database performance across Oracle, SQL Server, Synapse, and PostgreSQL.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and translate reporting requirements.
  8. Ensure secure data handling and compliance with organizational data policies.
  9. Debug Unix-based scripts and automate batch jobs as needed.
