Lead Designer - Visual Storyteller

We are seeking an exceptional Lead Designer to lead our visual storytelling efforts. This talented individual will be responsible for crafting compelling narratives that capture the essence of our brand.

This role requires a deep understanding of visual principles, typography, and color theory. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their ability to balance creativity with functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative visual concepts, layouts, and artworks for campaigns, digital, print, and social media.
  • Translate briefs into captivating visual narratives while adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft integrated campaigns that drive results.
  • Deliver designs, illustrations, and mock-ups that bring ideas to life.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to enhance work.
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and attention to detail across all deliverables.
  • Guide and mentor junior designers, sharing expertise and design best practices.
  • Manage multiple projects with tight deadlines while maintaining high creative standards.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in design/visualisation (preferably in an agency setup).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing campaign work, social media design, branding, and visual storytelling.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects is a plus).
  • Understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
  • Ability to take feedback positively and refine ideas quickly.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to balance creativity with functionality.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.

Nice to Have:

  • Motion graphics / basic animation skills.
  • Experience working on digital-first campaigns.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools.
