About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Native Java Developer to join our SAP CX Cloud for Customer (C4C) Development organization. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering best-in-class and leading-edge cloud-based CRM solutions designed to meet line of business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support our existing cloud customer base to resolve complex issues
  • Focus on software fault-tolerance to compensate for inevitable outages in the cloud
  • Guide our customers in their data-driven application adoption journey
  • Develop enterprise-grade data-driven applications using Java and cloud-native technologies
  • Work in a rapid prototype and agile development environment with a result-driven mindset
  • Perform product design, modeling, implementation, testing, and service monitoring
  • Closely work with Product Management, ML/Analytics engineers, data scientists, and UX designers to translate customer requests into useful product functionality

Requirements

  • 3-7 years of experience in software development
  • Proficient in two or more programming languages, including Java and JavaScript
  • Strong database and SQL knowledge
  • Strong understanding of data structures and object-oriented programming (OOPs)
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB
  • Strong focus on delivering business value to customers
  • Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and tools like Git, GitHub, Jira, and Jenkins
  • Familiarity with cloud computing and cloud-native technologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and Spring Boot/Node.js
  • Knowledge of SAP technologies, such as SAP HANA and BTP, is a plus
  • DevOps tooling hands-on knowledge
  • UI technology knowledge, such as Angular and SAPUI5
  • CRM functional domain knowledge is a plus
  • Willingness to interact with customers and passion to solve their issues
