Technical Artist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Artist to join our team. As a Technical Artist, you will be responsible for implementing UI designs in Unity for PC, mobile, and AR/VR platforms.

You will collaborate with designers, engineers, and 3D artists to ensure visually stunning and responsive user experiences. Your work will involve creating micro animations, building custom shaders, and optimizing particle systems to elevate the UI and interaction quality across various platforms.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing UI features such as 2D and 3D layouts, menu logical flows, animations and more in Unity.
  • Optimizing UI for performance, ensuring seamless user experiences.
  • Creating and managing micro animations in Unity.
  • Building custom shaders and optimizing particle systems in Unity.
  • Working with 3D assets, including creation, texturing, and rigging.
  • Collaborating with designers to build UX prototypes in Unity.
  • Writing basic C# scripts to integrate UI elements with the overall system.
  • Building and maintaining a prefab library.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 4 to 5 years of work experience as a technical artist.
  • A portfolio of example projects.
  • Strong experience with Unity, especially in UI implementation.
  • Proficiency in creating custom shaders and working with particle systems.
  • Experience with lighting and rendering in Unity.
  • Knowledge of tweening and micro animations in Unity.
  • Basic C# programming skills.
  • Familiarity with UX prototyping and design principles.
  • Basic Photoshop, Illustrator and Maya/Blender skills.
